How does drop off and pick up work?
Drop-off is between 6:15–6:30 PM, but it’s completely okay if your student arrives after 6:30! Some students like to come early to hang out, and we love that. When you arrive at LIFEHOUSE Church, first-time guests are welcome to park and walk up with their teen to meet our team. Regular attenders can pull up to the front for a quick drop-off. Pickup is at 8:30 PM—we can’t wait to see your student!
What does a night at LH Youth look like?
At LH Youth, we want every student to feel welcomed from the moment they arrive. Our team will be at the front doors, ready to greet them and help with check-in at the lobby desk. From there, they’ll jump into a fun connect time, where they can enjoy activities like basketball, 9 Square, volleyball, and our café. The night continues with a group activity designed to get everyone involved, followed by a powerful time of worship, a message from the Bible, and small group discussions—where students are placed with peers their age and gender to grow deeper in faith and community.
What roles do parents play at LH Youth
At LH Youth, we believe parents play the most important role in their child’s faith journey, and we’re here to support you every step of the way! While serving directly with your teen’s group might not always be their first choice, there are plenty of other ways you can be involved at LH Youth. Whether it’s helping behind the scenes, welcoming students, or supporting our events, we’d love to have you as part of our team!
Who are the volunteers at LH Youth
We take the safety and well-being of your child seriously, and we are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment through our LH Youth team. Our team is made up of dedicated leaders of all ages, most of whom have experience working with teens. To ensure the highest level of care and trust, each leader goes through a thorough process that includes a detailed application, interview, background check, and specialized training.
As part of the application process, leaders share their personal testimonies, family dynamics, and current relationship with the Lord. We also inquire about any past exposure to abuse, alcohol, or drugs to maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone. In addition, all applicants are required to submit at least two references, further ensuring that each leader is well-qualified and trustworthy.
